Benefits of Renting a Carport with your next Apartment

Many of my clients ignore my advice to include a Carport or Garage with their new lease until I tell them the following reasons THEY SHOULD:

• Keeps the sun's damaging rays from destroying your paint job; also keeps your car cooler during the summer
  
• It gives you assigned parking - a real advantage if you have a busy complex or your neighbors throw parties
  
• Many auto insurance companies will give you a reduction in your rates if your car is parked in a carport or garage (these savings can more than pay for a carport).
  
• Many carports are lighted at night; a real benefit it you are concerned about people "messing with your car"
  
• The carports help protect your car from hail - we often get damaging hail storms that will add dents to your vechicle
  
• If the carport is lighted, you may feel safer pulling in and parking at night

In addition, many complexes will "throw a free carport in" as a Look & Lease to get you to sign a lease. Free is always a good reason.
